Privacy Policy — Flow Tube

This Privacy Policy explains how Flow Tube ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using Flow Tube you agree to this policy.

1. No account, no sign-in

Flow Tube does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Your media files (videos and music you import) stay on your device and are never uploaded to us.

2. Information processed by third-party services

To keep the app free, Flow Tube uses the following Google services, which may collect and process limited data:

  • Google AdMob (advertising). AdMob and its partners may collect and use data such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any tracking, and we present a consent screen (Google User Messaging Platform) where required by law. If you do not allow tracking, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
  • Google Firebase Remote Config (remote configuration). It may process a device installation identifier and basic usage data to deliver configuration values to the app.

3. Local features

Some features run entirely on your device and do not send your data to us:

  • Playback of local video and music, the equalizer, the private vault (protected by Face ID / Touch ID), subtitles and synced lyrics.
  • On-device editing (trim, convert, compress, extract audio, ringtone/GIF).
  • On-device speech recognition for automatic subtitles (processed by Apple's Speech framework on your device).
  • Wi-Fi transfer, which sends files only over your local network to a device you control.

4. Permissions

Flow Tube may ask for: Photo Library and Files access (to import your media), Microphone / Speech Recognition (for voice search and automatic subtitles), Face ID (to unlock the private vault), and tracking permission (for personalized ads). You can change these at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Children

Flow Tube is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.

6. Your choices

  • Allow or deny tracking via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Reset or change your ads consent from the app's privacy options where shown.
  • Uninstall the app to stop all processing.

7. Data retention & security

We do not store your personal data on our servers because we don't collect it. Data processed by Google's services is retained according to Google's policies. We rely on standard platform security provided by iOS.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
